Pace Gallery is now launching in Hong Kong with a new office, bringing one of the most famous Chinese contemporary artist Zhang Xiaogang’s latest oil on paper works to constitute its inaugural show in May.
Sleeper 2013 Ⅰ 2013 Oil on PanelThe solo exhibition “Sleepers” of Japanese Artist, Atsushi Suwa, will be held at Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery in Hong Kong. Although Atsushi Suwa’s works have been exhibited in group shows and at ART Hong Kong - the predecessor of ART BASEL in Hong Kong, this is the first time over 20 of his works have been exhibited together in Hong Kong. And also we can view his new works at the exhibition “Currents Japanese contemporary art” at James Christie Room in Hong Kong from May 9th to 28th (from the 20th by appointment only).

Art Stage Singapore opens on 16 January 2014 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre on a high note as the flagship Asian art event of the region. With its new fair format, a strong showing of new and returning galleries and a comprehensive outreach and art education programme, Art Stage Singapore 2014 is coming soon.
The 2013 Art Basel in Miami Beach show, now in its 12th edition, will feature 258 leading international galleries, drawn from 31 countries across North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. The show presents artwork ranging from Modern masters to the latest contemporary works and includes, for the first time in Miami Beach, a sector dedicated to editioned works.

Art Stage Singapore returns in 2014 for its 4th edition with a stronger than ever showing of galleries from Singapore and the Asia Pacific region, underscoring the fair’s core Asian identity. To date, Art Stage Singapore presents over 100 galleries, of which 80% are Asia Pacific-based galleries. Art Stage Singapore takes place from 16 to 19 January 2014 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention.

Art Stage Singapore presents art in context with its country and regional Platforms at its 2014 edition of the fair. Seven country and regional Platforms – Southeast Asia, India, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and Australia – will feature artists’ works curated to fit into the contemporary art landscapes of each country or region. These curated sales exhibitions are a new component of Art Stage Singapore 2014, in addition to its general fair booths. The Platforms also offer art collectors and enthusiasts the opportunity to discover tomorrow’s leading lights. Art Stage Singapore will be collaborating with experts in the art scenes of the respective countries like curators, galleries and advisors to guide the exhibition presentation of the Platforms.

Art Stage Singapore breaks new ground with the announcement of its latest fair component. To be held from 16 to 19 January (Vernissage on 15 January) at Marina Bay Sands, Art Stage Singapore 2014 will introduce country/ region-specific Platforms in collaboration with galleries and curators.

Katsura Funakoshi, 'the Sphinx Sees Wars', 2005
TABLOID GALLERY is going to hold Katsura Funakoshi Exhibiton from June 25, 2013. The exhibition will mainly feature three-dimentional works of the 1990's to 2000's along with drawings on which wooden sculptures are based and printings.

Art Basel announced the details of its 44th edition in Basel, Switzerland, taking place June 13 to June 16, 2013. This year, 304 leading international galleries will present 11 decades of work, ranging from the Modern period of the early 20th century to the most contemporary.This year, many elements of the show will be housed within the new extension of Hall 1, designed by internationally renowned Basel architects Herzog & de Meuron and directly sited on Messeplatz. While the previously existing part of Hall 1 will be given completely over to Unlimited, the Statements and Magazines sectors, and the auditorium for the Conversations and Salon series, will be sited within the new state of the art exhibition hall.
